Organization

　　The Kaohsiung City Public Bus and Ferry Service Administration is a government owned transportation organization under the Transportation Bureau, and following all aspects of the labor law. It is a second tier city government organization. There are seven departments internally (Operations, Mechanics, Administration, Dispatch Management, Personnel, Accounting and Auditing Department), and one factory (Vehicles and Boat Maintenance), as well as twelve stations, namely Chienchun, Rueyfong, Hsiaokang, Chienchen, Golden Lion Lake, Yancheng, Kaohsiung Railway Station, Jiazhang, Zuoying South, Zuoying North, Kushan Ferry Station, and Chienchen Ferry Station.

　　 In 2004, staff members within budget totals 1,220 people, of which 117 are employees and 1,103 staff workers.
